Michelle and Elinore napping in the Rooster House at Ranco Jacon. the Rooster House dates from the 1700s and was the first mud brick adobe dwelling at Rancho Jacon. One can still see the stone adze cut marks on the original woodwork. the doorways are only about 5'6" as the average height then was 5'3".
